I had a fantastic stay at The Inn Place, thanks to its prime location just off the bustling Royal Mile, providing easy access to major attractions while being pleasantly quiet at night. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-decorated, although I did find the lack of storage a bit inconvenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making my stay more enjoyable. However, I did find the breakfast a bit overpriced for what was offered.

My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a tasteful decor that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bathroom even had two showers, which I found good. However, the lack of drawers meant I had to live out of my suitcase, which was a little bothersome.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful, always ready to provide recommendations or assistance. Their warmth made my stay even more pleasant, adding a personal touch to my experience.

This hotel is right in the heart of Old Town, only a couple of minutes from the Royal Mile and close to many shops and restaurants. It made exploring Edinburgh a breeze, although the steep hill leading to the hotel was a bit of a workout!
Dining

I opted for the breakfast once, and while it was well prepared, I felt that it was a little pricey at £12.50 per head given the limited options. The experience could have been improved with more variety and better service.
Facilities

The hotel featured modern amenities in a boutique style, but I did notice that it lacked air conditioning, which could be an issue during warmer months. Overall, it was clean and well-maintained, showcasing care for the guests' comfort.

However, I did face some difficulty with carrying my luggage up the stairs since there was no lift to my room. Overall, it's a great choice for exploring Edinburgh! 😊

I had a decent stay at The Inn Place in Edinburgh. The location was very nice, just a short walk from the Royal Mile and other attractions, which made sightseeing super easy. However, the bathroom setup left a lot to be desired, with a lack of surfaces for essentials and some awkwardness in the shower. Overall, it was a solid choice but with some room for improvement.

The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to offer help. However, I did find a few minor issues with the room cleanliness that detracted slightly from the experience, though the bathroom was modern and well-designed.

My stay at The Inn Place was a mixed bag. While the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Edinburgh and the room was spacious and comfortable, I had some significant issues that impacted my experience. The lack of a window in my room coupled with a surprising discovery of a leech on my father's towel truly overshadowed the positives. It’s hard to overlook the dismissive attitude of the staff regarding these matters, which really diminished the overall experience.

Rooms

My room was spacious and comfortable, but it had no windows and was quite hot. Additionally, my father's room had a leech found on the towel which was unsettling.
Service

Despite the friendly demeanor of the staff, the service fell short when it came to addressing issues. The dismissal of serious concerns left a lot to be desired.
